Justine Locksmiths were in action today with wooden door locks.  Our locksmith services were required in Parklands this afternoon to open a front door lock.  The customer contacted me and explained she has locked herself out.  She explained the front door lock had not been working and she had to use another door to leave.  This door was not using a key from the outside and she closed it without realising the latch closes from the inside.  The call came through to us around 11am and we were just finishing up on a callout in Grotto Bay.  The customer explained she had to fetch her kids around 2pm and we knew that we could reach her house in Parklands well before then.

We finished up in Grotto Bay and made our way to Parklands.  The customer was waiting in her car and saw us arrive as we parked in the driveway.  We introduced ourselves and the customer showed us to the door we need to open.  We had two options and both were the same type of door lock.  All we needed for this callout was our box of keys and toolbox.  We can fit keys to most doors that use an over the counter copy and open your door for you quickly and efficiently.

Charmaine our expert locksmith just looks inside the lock where the keyway is situated and tells me which bunch of keys to pass her.  I grabbed the bunch of keys she asked for and once the keys are matching she has got the door open after the third key on this lock.  The customer is very happy and shocked to how quickly we opened the door.

We asked the customer to show us the front door lock and Charmaine saw the key and immediately told her the key is broken.  Our tools are still out and we can now open the second lock without going inside the house.  Another tool was required to help get this lock open in 10 seconds.  Job done.  The customer was nearly speechless and said wow this is awesome service.

We tested the front door lock with a new key and it worked perfectly.  The customer now has now access through her front door again instead of walking around the backyard.
